IndiaIf like me you've been buying star anise from grocery stores, you're missing out! I always knew star anise as a brittle woody spice, that doesn't smell like much, but since it's in the recipe, it probably adds to it. But that's not the case with this one... The moment I opened the packet, air was heavy with aroma I have never known before!!! I had always read that star anise smells like: licorise with balsamic, spicy-sweet undertones... This one actually does! Other than that, complete full flower star anise, extremely potent! Great experience with shopping too! I will most likely try all the different spices one by one.

IndiaI must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the delicious and subtle aroma of the Indian spices at Earthtatva. The quality of the Cardamon, Star Anise Cinnamon & clove is excellent. Blends well with the all kind of delicacies, resulting in divine aroma, delicious flavours. The spices are of very good quality with fresh organic colours. I would definitely recommend these traditional spices for an amazing cooking and gifting experience. Must try, if you are looking for a good quality flavoured spices.
